About Me

This all began when a little girl in Tennessee listened to the stories in church about Haiti, and throughout her life, God gave her the courage to dream and confidence to forge ahead through difficult conversations.

My Journey to Missions

Frequently asked questions

There are some classic questions people ask when it comes to missions and missionary work. Of course you can find more information is longer posts and updates, but some of the basics will be here.

Where do you want to serve?

The short answer: I don't know!

The longer answer: I feel called to Bible Translation specifically, not necessarily a location. I enjoyed living amongst the culture of SE Asia, and I would not mind going back there, but ultimately, wherever there is a need, I am willing to go.

What's Next?

Training with PBT and getting an MA in Linguistics.

Where have you travelled?

I have been to nine other countries for various reasons!

- Germany, Czechia, Switzerland, Italy, The Netherlands, England, Cambodia, Thailand, and the Incheon Airport in South Korea :)

Why Bible Translation?

I knew I wanted to do ministry. Then I knew I wanted to do missions. Then I knew I fell in love with Koine Greek. Combine it all together, and Bible Translation is the outcome.

What is PBT?

PBT means Pioneer Bible Translators which is a missionary organization that focuses on Bible Translation. I am currently a Representative of Pioneer Bible Translators hoping to become a Translation Specialist, and as I move through training, my title will change some.

What are you doing right now?

Right now I am teaching English online to children in China, I am working as a Barista at Scooters Coffee, and I am a representative of PBT working through my training plan.
